Rihanna’s last album, “ANTI,” was released in 2016, and fans have been eagerly waiting for a new album ever since. In a recent interview, Rihanna revealed new details about her upcoming album. she gushed, “It’s gonna be amazing,” when asked what exactly her loyal following, dubbed The Navy, can expect from her. “It has to be…” she added.

“That is the only reason it’s not out yet. If I’m not feeling it, and I am not feeling like it represents the evolution and the time I spent away, there should be a show of growth… I want to… show truly where I am at.” she explained.

While Rihanna’s next album isn’t out yet, that has not discouraged fans from enjoying her catalog, which includes 63 records that have landed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Wideout Jamari Thrash was selected as the 156th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft when the Cleveland Browns called the Louisville player’s name in the fifth round. Beyond the honor of being drafted into the NFL, Thrash is now the first-ever player whose draft pick was announced from the African country Nigeria. Ozoemena Chukwu, better known as Ozo, a sports pundit and Big Brother star, announced the 156th draft pick for the Browns.

Thrash was an honorable mention All-American after a standout career for Georgia State and the Cardinals. He was also an All-Sun Belt receiver while in college. Thrash is known as a shifty and quick receiver, creating opportunities for himself through his skillful route running.

South African rapper Cassper Nyovest, known by his stage name Cassper, is calling attention to the high rates of violence in the country. This comes after fellow musician Kabza De Small cancelled an event due to safety concerns. Cassper took to Twitter, expressing his frustration: “This is what South Africa has come to. Brother it’s Bad, we are not safe and not enough is being done!!! Does anyone feel safe in this country?”

He went on to highlight a statement that speaks to the irrelevance of the hate that leads to these killings. Cassper ended his tweets with a call for hope: “Our country needs prayer. We need God. We cannot rely on the flesh or human beings.”

Paris Saint-Germain were crowned Ligue 1 champions on Sunday for the third year in a row after Monaco fell to a 3-2 defeat at Lyon. PSG played out a 3-3 draw with Le Havre on Saturday to go 12 points clear of Monaco heading into the 31st matchday in the French top-flight. Monaco looked capable of delaying the title holders’ party when they went 1-0 up in the early stages of their clash in Lyon, but the home side fought back to go 2-1 up after 26 minutes.

Monaco managed to pull level again in the second half as Ben Yedder scored his second, but Lyon had the final word, with Malick Fofana netting the winner in the 84th minute. The result leaves Monaco 12 points behind PSG with three matches left to play. Luis Enrique’s team cannot be overtaken and have claimed the national title for the 12th time in their history.
