“A man charged a security checkpoint armed with multiple weapons and he was taken down by some very brave members of Secret Service, and they acted very quickly,” said President Donald Trump on Saturday to reporters at the White House after shots were fired at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

President Trump confirmed one agent was shot in the vest and is doing fine. On Truth Social, the president shared an image of the shooter face down after being taken down by Secret Service. There’s also great footage of the shooter on the ground. Both of those things can be found HERE.
