This is totally mock-worthy. The socialist candidate for Los Angeles mayor and current city councilwoman, Nithya Raman, just took a victory lap over a freaking crosswalk getting painted on a street. Seriously.
What’s worse is the condition of the street:
The Los Feliz Neighborhood Council alerted our office in late 2025 to the need for a crosswalk at Sunset Dr. and Bates St., which has just been completed!

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin writes:
“I had to double check to make sure this is real. Yes, the socialist candidate for LA mayor and current member of the LA city council is taking a victory lap for painting a crosswalk over a decrepit road full of cracks.”
They painted a crosswalk and didn’t even bother to fix the road, and this is worth celebrating??? This is the problem with Los Angeles in a nutshell.
