Elon Musk just sent a message this afternoon to Democrats who are heavily critical of his companies having federal contracts.
In his message below, he’s responding to someone who suggested this is what he should say:
Elon please send this January 1:
Dear Senate & House Democrats,
Many of you criticize my companies receiving federal contracts.
I hereby offer to cancel.
Please publish a list of each contract to cancel with any required agency consent, and we will cancel promptly.

Tesla has no government contracts and President Trump ended federal incentives for electric vehicles.
SpaceX contracts with the government are BOTH the best product AND the lowest price! Moreover government revenue will be less than 10% of SpaceX revenue this quarter and less then 5% a year from now.
Happy to cancel any that the government doesn’t want. Just say the word!
Elon is both an American treasure and a hero. He’s the one who rescued the two stranded astronauts from the space station and has a working and strong space program. Do you really think they are going to allow him to cancel his federal contracts??? Hell no. LOL!
