Every Star Trek movie, from The Motion Picture to Beyond, ranked. Did we get them right?

Star Trek: Nemesis“,”photo-description”:”
A solid concept for a Star Trek movie — Captain Picard confronts own evil double — gets scuttled by a catastrophically botched execution. Instead of having Patrick Stewart play his doppelganger with makeup or special effects, they cast a young British actor who looked and sounded nothing like Patrick Stewart, shaved his head, gave him a prosthetic nose, and called it a day.
To make matters worse, the clone is played by Tom Hardy, which is even more distracting now that he’s a huge star in his own right. Still, if this was the only film Hardy ever made, the conceit wouldn’t work. Why did they shave Tom Hardy’s head? I get it, Patrick Stewart is bald, and you’re trying to make him look like Hardy any way you can, so you shave his head too.
But Patrick Stewart wasn’t born bald; he gradually lost his hair. At one point, Captain Picard ruminates on his youth while looking at a picture of himself from back at Starfleet Academy — and it’s a picture of a totally hairless Tom Hardy! It’s one of the most unintentionally funny moments in all of Star Trek.
Coupled with a labrynthian plot that makes no sense (including Hardy’s clone somehow getting his hands on a prototype robot identical to Data and then using it to lure the Enterprise into an elaborate trap), and what you have is the absolute worst Star Trek film ever. (Yes, even worse than the one everyone thinks is the worst one.)
