Another recurring cast member has been added to the second season of 1923. Janet Montgomery (above, left) has joined the Yellowstone prequel series which is released by Paramount+.
Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, Sebastian Roché, Isabel May, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, Jacques Schembri, Brandon Sklenar, Robert Patrick, Jerome Flynn, Jennifer Ehle, and Timothy Dalton star in the Paramount+ series which follows an earlier generation of the Dutton family in the early 1900s. During this time, pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west.
Per Deadline, Montgomery will play “Hillary, a thoughtful woman who does not want to see injustice go unpunished.” Her addition comes not long after it was revealed that Jennifer Carpenter had joined the series.
The first season of 1923 finished being released in February 2023, and the show was officially renewed that same month. The industry strikes later delayed it.
Season two of 1923 is expected to arrive later this year, but a premiere date has not yet been announced.
