Sarah Sanders released an ad today highlighting abuses to the welfare system, featuring a white dude.

This Republican ad calling out welfare leeches uses a young white male named “Brad” as the villain. Meanwhile, back in reality, women are significantly more likely to be on welfare than men. And black people are astronomically more likely to be on welfare than white people. So the number of single young white male “Brads” abusing the welfare system is minuscule. Practically non-existent. But of course Republicans don’t have the balls to do this ad with “Shaniqua” as the villain. Even though that would actually be an accurate portrayal of the problem at hand.

White males are the Republican Party’s voting base and yet they are the group the Republican Party shits on at every possible opportunity. These idiotic cowards don’t even have the guts to criticize groups that will never vote for them anyway. They just never learn.

An honest ad about welfare queens and benefits scammery would feature Zelensky, a Somali Learing Center, Planned Parenthood, and a Medicare bill for $2 million for two months of care.

Instead they trash the only demographic in the country not engaging in any of it.

My own take is that Sanders was just trying to get her message out without the usual controversy. Was it cowardly? Sure, but politics is inherently cowardly. Even so, White people abuse the system just like other groups.

To me, people are making too much of this.
