April Rose Gabrielli is being carried by the current of a charismatic explosion larger than life as she quickly surpasses “rising” and takes her rightful place as a superstar.
Her debut single “Do You?” via Soho Records catapulted her to the ramparts of success. An innocent love song perhaps evoking the fact that the heart knows the answers. The heart is wise and will never lose its way, but that love that warns is not true love, rather the opposite. The question is not always who we love but why we love. Her follow-up “Bad Habit (Don’t Make Me Bad)”, was accompanied by a powerful video worthy of an academy award. Her third single just recently released “I Need A Break”, is quickly making head way through the charts. Each of her songs are compelling both lyrically and vocally showing off the incredible range of her voice.
Her EP also recently released via Soho Records is called “Unreasonable Woman” proof that April Rose Gabrielli is unreasonably resilient. The EP includes her first three singles as well as “Low”, a melancholy piano extravaganza and “Happy” an upbeat song about how we stay tethered when our roots are torn and scattered in the breeze through a bad relationship and then finding personal happiness when it end, and “Breaking Both.”
April Rose Gabrielli has just come off of a small tour performing at Café Wha in New York City and then playing the main stage of the Montauk Musical Festival. Her live concerts capture her audience like an atomic cloud engulfing the emotions, excitement and global drama of those in witness.
