Aerie, an intimate apparel brand by American Eagle Outfitters, has introduced Smoothez by Aerie intimatewear collection made for different body types. The company has also announced its partnership with adaptive lingerie brand Liberare to create a collection that features lingerie for people with disabilities.
The Smoothez by Aerie collection comprises assortments made of soft, lightweight fabric that can be mixed, matched, and layered. Styles feature smooth, stretchy and colourful first-layer bras, underwear, leggings, pants, shorts and tops made of lightweight mesh, super soft microfibre and a lacey blend in over 130 choices. Within the collection is the new BRA-ish, a brand-first bra featuring floating cups that mould and move as body changes, offering a custom fit, feel and support. The collection is available at all Aerie retail stores and online channel, the company said in a press release.
The collection to be launched in partnership with Liberare on August 18 will feature the Liberare bra, convertible plunge bralette, cheeky tanga and everyday bikini.
