Sometimes, the new world-changing business idea you’re searching for never materializes—and sometimes, that’s a good thing. Just ask French-Argentinian entrepreneur Guillermo Boyle.
After years in corporate finance and a long stretch of soul-searching for the perfect business concept, Guillermo chose a more straight-forward path: he followed his heart, passions, and values – something other leaders can learn from.
The result? BOYLE, a luxury leather brand launched in 2021, inspired by his love of craftsmanship, timeless design, and life’s finer details. Through the brand Guillermo crafts elegant timeless pieces made to become men’s wardrobe classics – from briefcases and wallets to bracelets.
From Finance to Fine Design
While Guillermo built his career in corporate finance, he was always drawn to the work of marketers, designers, and artists that were surrounding him; probably because he has always been attracted to beautiful products and their stories, fondly remembering his time at Dior. There, he witnessed firsthand how perfection is achieved through attention to even the smallest details—a philosophy he now brings to BOYLE.
A Brand with Heart
BOYLE’s leather accessories embody Guillermo’s love of craftsmanship and design. Inspired by his stays in Argentina, where his appreciation for leather began, and his years in Paris, where he developed a deep respect for timeless luxury, Guillermo set out to create something unique.
Each piece in BOYLE’s collection is designed to make life easier, without sacrificing sophistication. For instance, the BOYLE briefcase includes a magnetic leather keyring to ensure men do not lose any more time looking for their keys —a small but impactful detail born from Guillermo’s meticulous approach.
Quiet Sophistication
For Guillermo sophisticated does not mean ostentatious. BOYLE’s designs are for men who value substance over marketing hype. His collections balance contemporary style with timeless appeal, using premium leathers that age beautifully and are crafted to last.
True luxury, for Guillermo, lies in perfection—even in the places you see less. This philosophy extends to the interiors of his products. Whereas for most of the brands, this part is where you make “savings” allocating little time in design and using basic fabrics, Guillermo wanted the inside of his products to bring a whole new emotional experience. He searched for the perfect lining to be used and after many attempts he finally found a material called Alcantara hidden in the Umbrian hills of Italy. Alcantara is celebrated for its soft touch, versatility, and sustainable qualities—a perfect complement to BOYLE’s ethos.
Handmade Heritage
In a world becoming increasingly digital, efficient and fast, BOYLE was created with values that could be seen as “old school.” BOYLE’s pieces are handcrafted in Marche, Italy, a region renowned for its artisanal heritage. In this hilly region of Italy, Guillermo partnered with a family-run atelier, where skilled craftsmen pour their expertise and humanity into every creation. For Guillermo, there is no luxury without time. He believes in “slow fashion” where products take time to be designed to master details and where artisans need time to craft with perfection.
Guillermo avoids buzzwords like “sustainability” and “eco-friendly,” preferring instead to focus on “reasonable choices.” He believes in doing the best you can in a given situation. For example, BOYLE’s packaging is produced locally in Italy to minimize transport. The downside? These choices are often more expensive and are therefore not retained by corporates.
BOYLE is more than a business—it’s Guillermo’s dream that came true. By removing boundaries, he’s created a brand that prioritizes elegance, timelessness, and quality over fleeting trends.
