When it came to building this Mother’s Day gift guide, I didn’t start where you might think—scrolling through every brand’s curated gift guide and picking the best bits. I started by thinking about what kinds of gifts mothers and mother figures out there might really want to open on March 19th. I’m not yet a mother myself, so to make sure I was getting it right I reached out to friends who are brand new mums, friends and family who have played motherly roles for years and even my Grandma, who has experienced many a Mother’s Day herself.
