On Thursday, in an Instagram video, the multiple-award-winning singer unboxed the new fragrance, Cé Noir, giving us a close-to-in-person view of the release. Okay, we know you’re itching to call dibs on yours, but before you pre-order, here’s what you need to know.
The look, scent, and price of Beyonce’s Cé Noir perfume…
The perfume comes in a metallic box with shimmer and text reminiscent of the Renaissance branding. Once opened, the bottle sits gracefully in a simple white enclosure. The Cé Noir bottle itself is special. The solid silver bottle flaunts a clear circle that gives you an undisturbed view of its content. Its semi-circle stopper, which resembles a beautiful half-moon, sits slightly elevated above the bottle. The bottle also comes with a befitting stand to make it look even fancier.
Beyonce’s new perfume, Cé Noir, smells like a dreamy garden bursting with flowers and other sweet things. It features top notes of clementine and golden honey, heart notes of rose absolute and jasmine sambac, and base notes of Namibian myrrh and golden amber. For $160, you’ll own a 1.7-ounce bottle (the only size available at the moment) and years of Queen Bey’s work. We aren’t joking. The mother-of-three said regarding the drop: “After years of hard work, it’s finally here. I aimed for something grand and intimate at the same time.”

During the perfume unboxing, Beyonce said that she wanted to create something monolithic and intimate, and further stated that she had used the scent during her performances. The aforementioned proves the personal touch Cé Noir commands; so it’s no surprise that fans are eagerly counting down the days until they can get their hands on it.
Since the announcement of this new drop, there’s been a playful banter among fans. The Beys of The Hive have been jokingly referring to Beyonce’s various ventures, including her perfume launch, as the Renaissance tour. This humorous term suggests Beyonce keeps coming up with new and exciting projects that fans can’t resist, almost like a tour of incredible offerings. Despite the light-hearted complaints about how she keeps “taking our money,” it’s all in good fun and a testament to her ability to continually captivate her audience with her diverse projects.
