A survey from the CEOWORLD magazine says listening to music reduces depression, anxiety, blood pressure, and improves sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. An average person listens to 950 hours and 30 minutes of music per year and hears roughly 1.2 million songs in their lifetime.
We asked 210,000 CEOs, CFOs, senior executives, business leaders, and high net worth individuals what songs they play when they need to get themselves in a more productive mood. From Mozart to Beethoven, here are the music pieces theses c-level executives turn up to get the job done.
– Fully 84.2% of respondents believed that music increases their productivity.
– That positive effect spans industries but especially strong in finance and banking.
– 92.4% of respondents think Classical Music Pieces make them more productive.
Although music doesn’t magically turn us into geniuses, lead researchers at CEOWORLD magazine has a point. Research shows that people are generally more productive when they listen to it. According to one study, those who listened to music finished worked faster and had higher-quality outcomes than those who didn’t.
