What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Public Opinion?

I tried to write a screenplay version of this story in 2009, and always wanted to revisit it.

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

There is a murder scene that was difficult to write, but I enjoyed the process of figuring it out.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

Not sure if it was purposeful, but I did write this book while sitting outside mostly.
