Ready to end the summer with some great books chosen by 13 awesome book clubs? On top of the usual excitement of a new list of books, this month has two book clubs picking the same book and two brand new book clubs to join! As always, I rounded up the selections of a bunch of book clubs that all have a virtual component, most chat with the author, and, most importantly, they all love books.
This month really has range in the selections, from a reality TV star’s memoir to translated magical realism. Other picks include a crime novel with a family drama at its heart, a thriller where the main character has a week to solve her own murder, a look at the natural world by an enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, a group of friends during a London heatwave, a romance set in Tennessee, and more!

About the book club: Born from TikTok, Sapph-Lit is a safe space book club for sapphic women and nonbinary readers to come together and chat books and life as well as offer each other support. One book a month is selected, alternating between fiction and nonfiction.

About the book club: Oprah’s book club has taken on different forms over the decades, starting in 1996 on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She’s still book clubbing, more than 100 titles later!
