Keeping with tradition, Nigerian singer Davido has pledged a sum of ₦300 million to be shared with orphanages in Nigeria through his foundation. On Tuesday, February 20, the Grammy-nominated singer announced his intentions via his socials, saying, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million naira to orphanages around Nigeria as my yearly contribution to the nation details of disbursement tomorrow.”
Davido founded the Davido Adeleke Foundation in 2022 with the help of other charitable organizations in a bid to help vulnerable children. In July 2023, he proudly announced that the foundation donated over ₦200 million to orphanages in the country and 13,818 children benefited from it.

The single set for release on Wednesday, February 21, is an up-tempo Amapiano and Fuji music hybrid, as Adekunle Gold aims to kick off the year with a party-starting hit. Fans on X also pointed out that the teaser appears to be a readjustment of Adekunle Gold’s collaboration with Seyi Vibez that leaked on social media in 2023.

Lionel Messi has donated his eighth Ballon d’Or to the Barcelona museum, despite collecting that award during his first season at Inter Miami.
