E
veryone held their fashion side down last week. They say what’s worth doing is worth doing well, and Black stars took it to heart as they stepped out in an array of sleek gear as the occasion served. They mastered the fashion game, and when they popped out their best shots, it was game over for all.
The Tony Awards happened and it was another reason to balance talent with style. Meanwhile, in Rome, Bulgari launched a new hotel and Zendaya, among other celebrities, surfaced in an effortless chic getup to mark the occasion. Last week gave exactly what it was meant to give — fashion in its purest state.
The Looks
Keke Palmer is redefining motherhood as the beginning of a hot girl era, and we approve of this message. The star was spotted on Instagram looking like a fully packed luggage ready for vacation. She packed a full punch in a vintage Roberto Cavalli print set that brought the flashback fever. The corset top, choker, and retro updo further proved that the old-fashioned style remains gold.
Zendaya is an all-season belle, and even on days she opts for understated looks, the star is still a class act. She sported a black take from Valentino for the Bulgari hotel opening in Rome. The blazer and wide-hem pants punched up the see-through top, and its contrast against her skin tone was one for the books.
Meanwhile, the multitalented Tracee Ellis Ross is already in heavy summer mode and has brought out breezy florals for a spin. At Tribeca Film Festival, Ms. Ross wore a drawstring cape dress for the Cold Copy premiere with signature vintage earrings and strappy heels. This summer, we’re keeping our eyes on Ross for all the right reasons.
