The party, which took place at the Henson Recording Studios, marked the 18-year partnership with Adidas and Stella McCartney, the company said in a press release.
The Icons collection, featuring contemporary cuts, sees iconic Adidas by Stella McCartney designs reimagined in staple shades of black, grey and white. It also features the Sportswear Run Shoe, a gender-neutral silhouette made in part from natural and renewable materials.
Fashion designer Stella McCartney and Adidas presented the new Spring/Summer 23 collection at a celebratory party in LA. The collections showcased at the party included the Icons collection, which blends sport and style, and the TrueNature collection, designed for exploring outdoors and crafted with leading technologies to protect the environment.
The TrueNature collection captures a contemporary take on Earth and weather satellite images alongside conceptual contours and ley lines of maps. With leading technologies such as Parley Ocean Plastic and WIND.RDY, the collection has been crafted to protect the next generation of active activists.
The event featured an immersive roller-skating piece by the LA Roller Girls, which showcased the new Spring/Summer 23 collection in motion.
Many celebrities and friends of the Stella McCartney brand attended the event, including Anya Taylor-Joy, Kate Hudson, Alicia Keys, Koffee, Emma Chamberlain, and Demi Lovato.
The Icons collection is available now on Adidas by Stella McCartney and via the Adidas app, while the TrueNature collection will be available from February 16, 2022.
