As of July 28, 2022, Murat Ulker was the wealthiest man in Turkey, with an estimated net worth of 4.8 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Hamidi Ulukaya (No. 2, $2.4 billion), Erman Illicak (No. 3, $2.3 billion); and Ferit Faik Sahenk (No. 4, $2.3 billion).

Ebrahim Erdemoglu is the fifth-richest person in Turkey, with a whopping $2.2 billion. Filliz Sahenk ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $2.1 billion, followed by Nihat Ozdemir with $2.0 billion. Sezai Bacaksiz is placed 8th with a net worth of $2.0 billion. Ali Erdemoglu ($1.9 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in Turkey.

Some were not included in the official statistics for various reasons, primarily due to the lack of necessary data. Just remember, these values and fluctuations are estimations based on a host of variables and publicly available documents. The margin of sampling error for the full data sample is plus or minus 1.2 percentage points. In addition to sampling error, one should bear in mind that, as in all survey research, there are possible sources of error—such as coverage, nonresponse, and measurement error——that could affect the results.
