The Dateline NBC TV show is a news magazine that’s the longest-running series in the network’s primetime history. Debuting in 1992, the program covers stories ranging from mysteries to documentaries and in-depth investigations. Anchor Lester Holt is joined by correspondents like Andrea Canning, Josh Mankiewicz, Keith Morrison, Natalie Morales, and Dennis Murphy.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances of survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: The Friday night episodes of Season 29 of Dateline NBC on NBC averaged a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.85 million viewers.
