As of February 24, 2023, David Thomson was the wealthiest man in Canada, with an estimated net worth of 55.1 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Jim Pattison  (No. 2, $11.0 billion), David Cheriton (No. 3, $9.2 billion); and Anthony Von Mandl  (No. 4, $8.7 billion).
Joseph Tsai is the fifth-richest person in Canada, with a whopping $7.9 billion. Alain Bouchard ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $6.2 billion, followed by Chip Wilson with $5.5 billion. Mark Scheinberg is placed 8th with a net worth of $5.3 billion. Emanuele (Lino) Saputo ($5.1 billion) occupied the 9th position among Canada’s top 10 wealthiest people.
